Oceanic limestone was used in this extension. The blue green polished surface of the stone worked well to contrast the rough texture of the red brick of the original external wall.

These tiles were laid in a three size pattern to break up grout lines.

At certain angles the fossilised shell content of this amazing stone "pops" out to the eye and shimmers in the sunlight so that there can be no doubt of its unique natural formation.
